(CAS: 842133-18-0) is a once daily oral diabetes drug, which works by inhibiting sodium glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) as a new drug. (CAS: 842133-18-0) can lower blood glucose levels by interdicting the blood glucose reabsorption of the kidneys and increasing the excretion of blood glucose in urine. It is the first FDA approved inhibitor for SGLT2 and used to treat adult patients with type 2 diabetes.
